Hi! We're Joe, Lisa, and Long — the team behind Copper State Beer Fest.

Our journey started over 15 years ago with a shared love of craft beer, community, and throwing a good damn party. Joe and Lisa first met while working at The Color Run in Utah, where their mutual passion for events and creating unforgettable experiences sparked a long-lasting friendship (and eventually, a business).

Before launching one of Arizona’s most beloved beer festivals, Joe and Long were business partners in the craft brewery and winery insurance space. Working closely with brewers and winemakers gave them a front-row seat to the creativity, grit, and challenges behind the craft beverage industry. That inside look inspired them to build something that not only celebrated great beer — but also supported the people behind it.
